Workout Money Jar
Take Your MEDS
Follow along with this challenge all year long. For every day you do a TBP workout (from the monthly plan or a weekly workout video), add $1 into your jar. For every day you do a workout other than a TBP workout (run, yoga, spin, pound, etc), add $.50 to your jar. At the end of each month, tally how much money you collect in your jar, and add it to the document below the video. Use the money at the end of the year for something special like a couple massages, or a piece of fitness equipment that you want, or next year's TBP renewal! Handy tip: Break a $20 bill and keep the small bills near your jar, so you can easily add to the jar after each workout.
This monthly AND year long wellness challenge is all about getting into the habit of doing 4 things every day that will help you feel WHOLE. These 4 things are necessary to have a complete picture of wellness. M = doing something mindful or meditative. E = getting in some sort of exercise each day. D = was your diet clean today? S = doing something social every day. Aim to take ALL of your MEDS on at least 4 out of the 7 days of the week. If you get more, great! If you get less, aim to do better next week. It helps to write MEDS on your daily to-do planner, so you can make sure that you can cross them off as you complete them. Make sure to read my blog post on taking your MEDS so that you can have a better understanding of them!
8 Forms of Wealth
Print out 12 copies of the document below on your TBP monthly plan page. (one for each month so you can repeat this challenge all year). Then, rate how you PERCEIVE you are doing in each of the 8 categories. Once you've rated all of them on a scale of 1-10, connect the dots. Notice if the circle is well-balanced, or if it's choppy, etc. The "spoke" of the wheel that you rank the lowest is the one you want to focus on that month. This is what I call 3 in 30. Your challenge is to come up with 3 action steps you can take in the next 30 days, that will help you to improve that spoke rating for next month. It may only improve 1 notch, but that's great! None of your spokes should be at a 10 out of 10. We always want to leave a little room for improvement on this journey of life!
